From the Kitchen Bench to a Purpose-Built Packing Space
Like many small business owners, we started from home literally. What began as a straightforward idea quickly turned into something bigger (and messier!) than we ever expected. Before long, our kitchen had become a makeshift logistics hub, surrounded by piles of clean and dirty linen, guest lost property, vacuums, tool-bags, and the occasional rogue doona.
Every room seemed to have a job it wasn’t meant for and although we were proud of the business we were building, we also knew something had to change. The house was full. We were full. But the business wasn’t quite ready for the huge leap of renting or buying a warehouse space.
We needed another solution something flexible, affordable, and built for growth. That was the moment The Packing Room was born.
We created a space that not only gave our business room to breathe but also opened the door for other small businesses to do the same. Today, we help others avoid the exact chaos we lived through by offering reliable storage, smart packing, and scalable fulfillment support right here in Ballarat.
